Come out to Granny Cantrells. It's a down-home cooking type of place. It has that comfortable feeling and all the flavor and taste of her home kitchen. The place is clean, the staff is friendly and courteous with lots of smiles. On your next trip, this is the place to get full!
Everything about this place is great! Love the old timey feel, service great, well definitely return. We went for breakfast time.
Excellent Breakfast Buffet. A good selection of your favorite breakfast items and the best biscuits in the area. They have a cute train that runs above the dining room.
This is a place where you can get a delicious home-cooked southern-style meal, complete with drink, salad, and dessert. I like the various pricing they have... an all-you-can-eat, a one time plate, and a carry out. The atmosphere is really homie complete with an indoor electric railroad track.
When they say everything is delicious here, they mean everything! Great southern cooking and hospitality.
Wonderful place! Home cooking at it's finest. And the nicest people you could ask to meet. Liz took very good care of this old man. I made it a point to get a tiny spoonful of everything, and a slightly bigger spoonful of some things. The turkey and dressing and gravy was some of the best I've ever had, the vegetables were fresh and delicious, I thought I was at my grandmother's house, well, I guess I was at Granny's Place. I hear they are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I may have to take early retirement and just move down here!
Absolutely loved! I wish I remembered pur waitress name, she had beautiful blavk and silver hair, maybe late 50s. She was so respectful, played with my kids, and never went without a full drink. She rocked it!!! Food was so very delicious. Huge variety!!!!
